Foreground Conservation’s most recent project is reviewed in the NY Times today. It was a lot of work. We were responsible for the overpaint removals, cleaning of original paint, installation of lost decoration and all of the related conservation treatments of stabilization and varnishing. FYI we did not use any toothbrushes.
